ITEM BY ITEM (IBI) INTEGRATE ROLE-BASED VIDEO TRAINING INTO D365 FSCM COPILOT

Item by Item (IBI) announced the release of a new capability that embeds contextual, role-based video training directly into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) through Copilot, bringing structured learning into the flow of daily work.

With this integration, when users ask a question in the sidecar Copilot within D365 FO, they continue to receive responses sourced from Microsoft Learn. Copilot now also displays relevant IBI video content within the experience, providing immediate access to short, practical demonstrations that show exactly how to execute processes inside D365.

For organizations with Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled, the experience is seamless. Users can move from question to answer to guided video instruction without leaving their D365 environment.

“This is a major step forward in embedding learning into daily work,” said Elif Item, CEO of Item by Item. “Copilot delivers trusted answers from Microsoft Learn, and IBI reinforces those answers with practical, role-based demonstrations inside D365. Together, they create a more complete and impactful learning experience at the moment of need.”

By combining Microsoft documentation with IBI’s structured, role-based video training, organizations can strengthen adoption, reduce support tickets, improve onboarding speed, and increase overall return on their D365 investment.

Organizations not yet using IBI can subscribe to the platform and enable it as a Copilot knowledge source, bringing structured, role-based video training directly into the system where users work. The integration provides a scalable approach to onboarding, cross-training, and long-term adoption.

ITEM BY ITEM (IBI) LAUNCHES CHANGE MANAGEMENT CURRICULUM FOR MICROSOFT D365 IMPLEMENTATIONS

Item by Item (IBI), a leading provider of online training for Microsoft Dynamics 365, has announced the launch of its new Change Management curriculum, the first training program in the market designed to fully integrate change management and user training into D365 project planning.

This comprehensive curriculum helps organizations tackle the human side of ERP and CRM implementations—an area where projects often falter. It should help project teams, business leaders, and change champions with the knowledge and tools they need to drive real adoption, reduce resistance, and set users up for long-term success.

The curriculum includes:

  • 37 micro-courses covering the full lifecycle of change in a D365 rollout
  • 6 structured learning paths aligned with roles and project phases
  • 6 assessment tests to reinforce learning and measure progress
  • Over a dozen downloadable templates to help teams apply learning immediately

To make the content tangible and practical, the curriculum follows a fictional example company throughout its implementation journey. This storytelling approach brings concepts to life and shows how change management strategies unfold in real-world scenarios.

“This is the kind of training I hope every team considers before starting a D365 project,” said Elif Item, Founder and CEO of Item by Item. “We believe this is the first attempt to bring change management, training, and project planning together in the D365 space—and we believe it will resonate deeply.”

The Change Management curriculum is available as a standalone offering and requires a separate subscription. It is not included in standard IBI platform access and can be purchased by both new and existing customers.
